We understand that hard drive cloning could be convenient, but our software activation mechanism forbids activating on a cloned HDD. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Solution:
For DocuCom Users
If you have done cloning a HDD and wish to use the product, please run the attached "Remove Tool" to clean up the HDD and then try to activate again. For detailed instruction please see below:
1. Deactivate DocuCom (skip if it's not yet activated)
2. Uninstall DocuCom*
3. Reboot the computer
4. Go to the path "%SystemDrive%/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data;" or in Windows 7 or Windows Vista, go to "%SystemDrive%/ProgramData," delete the folder titled "Zeon"
5. Install DocuCom
If you cannot uninstall DocuCom via normal procedure (Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program, and find "DocuCom PDF Gold". Click "Uninstall" and proceed), please use the attached Remove Tool (replacing step 2*).
For Gaaiho User
The same method doesn't apply to Gaaiho PDF products. Please raise a ticket in the support system or send an e-mail to support@gaaiho.com.
