Important Note: DocuCom has been discontinued in 2009 and is known to have incompatibility issues when running in Windows 7 or above. If the solution doesn't work, please consider upgrading to the latest version of Gaaiho PDF because we will no longer release DocuCom updates.
The license file might have been accidentally deleted. The solution is to re-install the program using the steps below:
1. Deactivate DocuCom (skip if it's not yet activated)
2. Uninstall DocuCom*
Note: in order to get to these paths :"%SystemDrive%/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data" or "%SystemDrive%/ProgramData," please do as following.
"%SystemDrive%/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data" :
1.Open "My Computer"
2.Open "Local Disk (C:)"
3.Click "Documents and Settings"
4.Click the folder which is your computer name
5.If you can't see "Application Data", type "C:\Documents and Settings\Your PC name\Application Data" on the top
6.Right click on the folder, and click "Properties"
7.Uncheck "Hidden" below the "Read-only" option.
8.Click "Apply" , and click "OK"
"%SystemDrive%/ProgramData":
1.Open "My Computer"
2.Open "Local Disk (C:)"
3.Type in "ProgramData\" on the top
If you cannot uninstall DocuCom via normal procedure (Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program, and find "DocuCom PDF Gold". Click "Uninstall" and proceed), please use the attached Remove Tool (replacing step 2*).
