An alert message: "Please login with administrator privileges and try again" pops up when try to activate DocuCom.
In Windows 7 and above systems, the system will detect the user's identity, and in some cases denies certain operations, such as loading our license file.
You may try right-clicking the application icon and click "Run as administrator" from the menu.
Another possible reason is that the license file is accidentally deleted and the software mistakenly prompts that the user has no clearance to access the license file. The solution is to re-install the program using the steps below:
- Deactivate DocuCom (skip if it's not yet activated or the option is not available)
- Uninstall DocuCom
- Reboot the computer
- Go to the path "%SystemDrive%/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data;" or in Windows 7 or Windows Vista, go to "%SystemDrive%/ProgramData," delete the folder titled "Zeon"
- Install DocuCom
